Macopol

Macopol alkyd resins can be modified during the manufacturing process to provide enhanced properties.

They can be modified with:

• acrylic monomers for better weatherability (UV resistance)
• styrene for faster dry
• vinyl toluene for early water resistance and better aliphatic solvent compatibility.

Used in:

• automotive refinish
• aerosol paints
• quick-dry enamels.

Excellent exterior durability, fast dry and good adhesion to metal surfaces for automotive applications; good hardness and dry properties for architectural applications.
