Termoestables
Thermoset resins are designed for 2K systems with either epoxy or isocyanate cure, or 1K systems with melamine cure.
Thermosetting solution acrylic resins will not cure without being reacted with a crosslinker.
Uses include 2K or baking enamels, industrial maintenance enamels (2K), automotive OEM, and automotive refinish (2K).
Their main characteristics are:
- hard, durable and chemically resistant finishes
- superior water resistance
- gloss retention
