Duramac

Duramac has the high Tg of the benzoic acid molecule and this gives to this resin type its hallmark property of fast tack-free time.

Used in place of conventional short oil alkyds when faster tack-free time is needed. Applications include:

• fast-dry enamels
• dipping enamels (air-dry)
• iron castings
• baking enamels.

Its main properties are:

• fast tack-free time
• excellent weatherability
• well suited for high gloss, durable exterior coatings
• good appearance in exterior products
