Polynt Composites (EMEA) announces the launch of their latest Gel Coat Armorflex 99F for the European Marine and high performance composites markets.  Armorflex 99F is an Advanced Technology Polyester Gel Coat which has been developed to be easy to apply correctly for the fiberglass industry and is available in White and Off White shades.

Armorflex 99F is highly flexible, pre-accelerated and has a low styrene content, reducing emissions by up to 50% compared to standard gel coats. However, it maintains good UV resistance with reduced chalking and yellowing in outdoor applications and good resistance to water and osmotic blistering.

Additional Typical Characteristics of Armorflex 99f are, enhanced crack resistance, greater transfer efficiency and less overspray with low backside tack.

Available in both Spray and Brush grades, when applied correctly and backed with a Polynt Vinyl Ester Barrier or Skin Coat, Armorflex 99F will provide a durable, sag resistant coating system for Marine boat hulls.  This gel coat comes ready to spray, needing only the addition of Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP)and is for use with airless or air assisted spray equipment.
