Available in different sizes (granular, fine, special fine and powder), it is mainly used as additive in beverages, bakery products, confectioneries, desserts, jams and fruit jellies, as preservative in fruit and vegetables and as additive in animals feed. It is also used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors and in some industrial applications.

MALEIC ANHYDRIDE

Organic anhydride obtained by the transformation of benzene or normal butane through the use of catalysts (catalytic oxidation process). It is primarily used as a raw material for the production of unsaturated polyester resins, additives for lubricating oils, copolymers for water treatment, solvents and esters.

PHTALIC ANHYDRIDE

Organic anhydride obtained by the transformation of ortoxilene through the use of catalysts (catalytic oxidation process). It is primarily used to produce plasticizers and different types of unsaturated polyester and alkyd resins.

TRIMELLITIC ANHYDRIDE

Organic anhydride obtained by a process of transformation of pseudocumene through the use of catalysts (catalytic oxidation process). It is primarily used for the production of plasticizers, polyester powder coatings, polyester-imide resins, water soluble alkyd resins and enamels for electrical cables insulation.

SUCCINIC ANHYDRIDE

Obtained through hydrogenation of maleic anhydride, it is an important starting material in chemical industry to obtain polymers, pharmaceutical compounds and additives.

STANDARD PLASTICIZERS - FOR GENERAL USE

These plasticizers are obtained by reacting phthalic anhydride with branched alcohols. These plasticizers are the most used worldwide and PVC compounded with standard plasticizers finds many applications, such as electric cables, vinyl skins, coated fabrics, membranes, medical devices and many others.

  • Diplast NS (DINP)
  • Diplast RS (DPHP)
  • Diplast O/MG (DOP/MG)

LINEAR PHTHALATES

Thanks to their low volatility and excellent low-temperature flexibility, linear phthalates provide PVC with superior resistance to thermal degradation. They are primarily used in roofing membranes, anti-fogging synthetic leathers for automotive interiors and cables.

  • Diplast L 9-11
  • Diplast L 11

TRIMELLITATES

Trimellitates (special plasticizers) impart to plasticized PVC excellent resistance to high temperatures, high resistance to migration and good flexibility at low temperatures. They are used in applications such as: the production of high-temperature electric cables and automotive cables, anti-fogging vinyl skins for car interiors, medical devices and many other PVC compounds.
